"I'm counting on it," Dev whispered back with a giggle.

Sara shot her son an exasperated look as she shook Tom's hand, then forced a smile. "Of course, I should have known," she said. "And, please, call me Sara."

That was when she noticed that the driver was still standing outside the door. "Oh good lord, Dev, why are you making him stand there with your things?" she tsked and gestured for the driver to bring the bags inside.

As Sara dealt with the driver, Dev took the opportunity to wrap his arms around Tom and give him a slow, deep kiss.

"Ugh," Sadie said. "I'm going to help Dad."
