If Tom hadn't been inside, Dev would have hugged Dean when he'd arrived. He felt no animosity towards the man and honestly did consider him to be a friend, but he knew that his lover had other thoughts about that. So, he'd been polite and explained that his new boyfriend was in the house with his parents.

When Tom, Jack and Sara joined them on the deck, Dev went over to Tom right away and took hold of his hand.

"How did it go?" he asked softly, giving Tom a kiss.
