"Yes, thank you," Dean said with a smile. Now that he knew Dev had told him what happened between them, he could understand the man's actions. They may have been subtle hints regarding who Dev belonged to now, but they'd come through loud and clear. "I'm wondering if we can convince Jack to let the child over here have some, too."
Dev rolled his eyes. "I'll just go the liquor store and get some of my own later. I don't know why Dad's such a nazi about it."
"I can hear you, Dev," Jack said, though there was a hint of amusement in his eyes. All in all, he was happy to have his oldest back at home for the time being and to find out that his fears about Tom had been unwarranted. "And I guess I can be lenient and let you drink. At least if you're home I don't have to worry about you."
"And Tom will be happy to chaperone me, right?" Dev said cheekily, looking at Tom.
