"Honey, could you get some more ice?" Dev's mom asked, handing her son the ice bucket.
"Sure, Mom," he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek before taking the bucket into the kitchen. He'd just finished filling it up from the bin in the freezer when he felt arms wrap around his waist.
"Hey, sexy. Alone at last," a familiar voice whispered into his ear.
Dev grinned and turned around to see his ex. "The party's waiting for ice. I'd hate for it to melt."
A throaty chuckle and Dev's trousers were being unfastened. "I'll make this quick then."
