Getting hitched

Dev couldn't stop fidgeting. He and Tom were waiting for the marriage commissioner to come get them so she could perform the ceremony in her office. A nice older couple they had met while waiting in line to get their marriage certificate had been kind enough to be their witnesses, and the lady smiled at him.

"Nervous?" she asked.

"Oh, yeah," Dev said, tugging at the sleeves of his suit jacket. "But at least I look good." He glanced at Tom and smiled. "Not as good as you, of course."

"Thank god for Viagra," Dev giggled. "It's going to keep us happy forever."

Tom hugged Dev close. "Who needs Viagra, I've got you my sexy little wild child."

"I love it when you call me that," Dev said softly, moving his hands down to give Tom's backside a quick squeeze. "Now, take your wild child to the nearest jewelry store. I feel like spending some money."

Tom stepped back and offered his arm. "With pleasure, Mr. Quinn-Ryan."

Dev slipped his arm into Tom's and laughed. "You're such a gentleman, Mr. Quinn-Ryan."

"And so very in love with you." Tom added leaning over to brush a kiss against Dev's temple.

"I'm a lucky bastard," Dev said with a satisfied sigh as they walked. "And I love you so much, I can't imagine a time when I didn't."

"I don't want to even think about my life before you were in it." Tom said, wrapping his arm around Dev's waist and holding his husband close.

"I can't blame you for that. I'm pretty awesome," Dev teased.

"You, my sweet beautiful narcissist, are more than pretty awesome, you are completely mind blowing." Tom grinned.

"Oh, baby, I'm so lucky you think so," Dev said. "As long as it helped me land you."

"I think you probably had me at hello." Tom said. "It just took a while for my head to catch up to my heart."

Dev kissed Tom's cheek. "I love you, my romantic soul."

Tom turned his head and captured Dev's lips. "I love you, my wicked angel." He whispered.

Dev shivered and smiled. "I love it when you call me that."

"More than sweetheart, wild child or husband?" Tom teased, delighting in the way Dev shivered in his arms.

Dev giggled. "There's just something about the words 'wicked angel' coming from those lips that does something to me."

Tom leaned in and placed his lips next to Dev's ear. "How about, take me to the hotel as soon as we get our rings and fuck me, my wicked angel?"

"Christ," Dev whispered, a visible shudder traveling through him. "You just gave me a hard on, you evil, evil man," he said with a smile.

"Poor baby." Tom grinned wickedly. "Want me to help you with that?"

"Oh yeah, right here in the middle of the street," Dev said, grinning.

"I was thinking we could find a convenient men's room," Tom chuckled.

"Are you serious?" Dev's laugh was triumphant. "Oh, my gorgeous, bad, wicked husband. Lead the way, baby."

"Completely serious." Tom answered, taking Dev's hand and leading him into a nearby upscale, but fairly empty restaurant. "Go to the bathroom and I'll order us drinks and something to eat, then I'll meet you there. Wait for me in the last stall." He sent Dev off with a kiss on the cheek.

The way Tom was taking control made Dev shiver with excitement again, and he couldn't stop smiling as he made his way to the restroom. As he slipped into the last stall as instructed, he looked at the plastic ring on his left hand and laughed to himself. He was now married to the most perfect man in the world.
